I created this painting for a friend of mine, but I thought it would be fitting for today.  By the way I did take these pics with my iPhone because I had to share it with you.

It’s the 4th of July, and as we celebrate, there are parts of the world that are still fighting to have a sliver of the freedom we have.  I am grateful for those who have fought for the freedom we all have.  Especially as an artist, the freedom of expression.

Did the Hulkster give us our freedom, no, but he does represent what I believe is an example of the “American Dream”.  That we can be anything.  We will be challenged, we will be knocked down, but we will, as americans, get up and stand tall.

Standing tall also means seeing beyond us, and seeing those who are truly in need.  That is up for interpretation and for you to decide who is in need.  In this country, or across the globe.

So, celebrate this great day, and Happy 4th of July.
