Yesterday, October 4th, I went on Good Day Sacramento to promote the cover painting I created for Sactown Magazine (Click Here To See The Cover).  During my visit I created a much smaller studio style painting live on air.  I never really do anything like this anymore so it was nice to change it up.

The piece was 24″ x 36″ in size, acrylic on canvas, and took about 1.5 hours to do.  It now hangs on the set of Good Day Sacramento.  I also named it “Monday Blues”.  It was a suggestion from a Facebook friend.

Thanks to everyone who tuned in, and also a big thank you to Sactown Magazine and Good Day Sacramento.

This set up was much cleaner than I am used to.

The “secret paint kit”.  This is what I travel with to paint in hotel rooms or even backstage at shows.

The final painting.
