The Reverse Graffiti Project Video

By April 9, 2010 No Comments

I posted something about this a while ago, but I thought it was too good to not repost.

This is truly about bringing the beauty out from behind the dirt.  Reverse graffiti is taking away the dirt from a surface, but leaving behind an image that contrasts with the dirt so well that it leaves behind whatever design the artist intends.  The only way for it to go away, is well, the city has to clean it.

There is no permanent damage.  It is simply cleaning with purpose, in an artistic way.  Watch the video and hear the artist talk about how this idea was born.  Genius.
